Dohatec New Media recently conducted another successful workshop as part of their ongoing efforts to raise awareness of the National Tenderers Database (NTDB) among tenderers in Bangladesh. The workshop, held on May 9th, was organized under the Digitizing Implementation Monitoring and Public Procurement Project (DIMAPPP) and funded by the World Bank. The event took place at the Institute of Livestock Science and Technology in Rajur Bazar, Netrokona.
The workshop was attended by a total of 211 participants, who were keen to learn more about the benefits of the NTDB and how to use it to their advantage. The event was inaugurated by distinguished guests, including Anil Chandro Bormon, Additional Chief Engineer of Mymensingh Division LGED; Md Anwarul Islam, Superintending Engineer of the Procurement Unit, LGED; AKM Ismat Kibria, Superintending Engineer of the Mymensingh Division, LGED; Mohammad Abdus Sattar, Executive Engineer and Focal Point of DIMAPPP; Md. Abdur Rahim Seikh, Executive Engineer at Netrokona LGED; and Md. Wahiduzzaman, Executive Engineer at Mymensingh Divisional Office, LGED.
The workshop was led by Dohatec New Media, who provided a comprehensive presentation on the NTDB and answered questions from the participants. Attendees were also given a folder containing workshop materials such as a pen, pencil, notebook, training manual, and a list of necessary papers and forms to help them understand the database.
The event was well-received by the participants, who appreciated the opportunity to learn more about the NTDB . This workshop marks another successful effort by Dohatec New Media to raise awareness of the benefits of the NTDB among tenderers in Bangladesh.
