The Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) is implementing a digital transformation initiative to extend the Electronic Construction Permitting System (ECPS) to cover all its zones. The ECPS has revolutionized the construction permit system by introducing paperless procedures, enabling online submission of applications, tracking of status, and fee payment. Dohatec New Media helped design and develop the ECPS and integrate it with RAJUK’s existing IT systems. RAJUK’s digital transformation sets an example for the construction industry, promoting transparency, efficiency, and applicant-centricity. The ECPS is expected to streamline the construction permit process for all stakeholders and shape the future of construction in Bangladesh.
